Rubbish from HP

Filed under: Uncategorized — ctrambler @ 7:01 pm

To keep Ms Dunn as director on the board is a mistake by HP board of directors. Yes, I know she resigned as chairman and I am sure she is a extremely valuable member of HP board. Somehow, her resignation as chairman is a punishment that does not fit the crime.

Directors are there to lead the company, not generating controversy for the company. She did it. In one stroke, she got the whole company into a lot of legal trouble: Subpoenas are flying at HP faster than you can say “Where did the last one came from?”. Congress, FBI, California AG office all wants a piece of action. Eventhough eventually HP might wiggle itself out of the legal trouble, the damage to its reputation is done.  Apparently, this is not a sackable offence.

Are we witnessing a new HP way as coined by PJ? Can it be any worse? Yes. May be we are not seeing a new “HP way” in development, but the old “HP way” in action. Disgraceful!
