Companies setting pressure on Government

Filed under: Uncategorized — ctrambler @ 1:33 pm

This interview of Louis Gutierrez, the most recently resigned CIO of Massachusetts’s IT department is a must read. We knows all companies assert pressures on the head of any government departments  to get their way and this is more-or-less accepted as the business norm. In fact, one of the duty of  the head of deparments is to resist these pressures. The  thing that strikes me is Mr Gutierrez feels that he should answer  Carol Silwa (the interviewer) questions on  how much pressure one company is asserting on him.

I hope this is not the trend to come and whichever companies that find themselves having to do this sort of pressuring, in the past, present and future, should be ashame of  themselves.
