StartKey is a disapointment

Filed under: Uncategorized — ctrambler @ 3:47 pm

When I saw Mary Jo-Foley’s blog entry on “StartKey”, I was excited. I thought, at last, Microsoft is developing a ‘live CD’ on the line of Knoppix. So imagine my disappointment to find out “StartKey” is simply away to put one’s setting on a removable media.

I can see the advantages of having portable personal settings. However, having a Windows installation that you can bring anywhere is something overdue from Microsoft. Guess I have to wait longer.
